Good News : Flight possible for India, GOAIR launches ticket booking, flight service from 15-APRIL
Airline company Go Air has started booking for domestic flights from the next day of lockdown i.e. 15 April 2020. The company has also announced opening of bookings for international flights from 1 May 2020.
Please tell that today it was reported that after the end of the bandh period, the government (Government) can allow the aircraft to operate in a phased manner. The government may allow domestic and international flights to operate in a phased manner after the nationwide 21-day shutdown to prevent the spread of Covid - 19.
The shutdown period ends on 14 April. Aviation services have been severely affected due to Corona virus epidemic. The official said that the government
(Government) may consider approving the operation of the aircraft in a phased manner from April 15. At the same time, he said that there will be no approval to operate aircraft for all areas.
At the same time, the Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri called the report on the start of aircraft operations as "speculation". He referred to one of his tweets of April 2, which said that after the closure was over, a decision was still to be taken regarding the operation of the aircraft. Puri had tweeted on Sunday that the news of the
commencement of the operations from April 15 in a phased manner is speculative.
My tweet dated April 2, 2020 has been explained about the exact situation. In the two April tweets, he said, "Domestic and international flights are currently closed till April 15.
A decision is yet to be taken in relation to starting the service after this period. We have to assess the situation from case to case. In fact, barring Air India, all the major aviation companies are booking tickets after April 14. Air India is only booking tickets that are after April 30.
